Kirchoff Laws Alternate

PHY 201 & 231

Lab PDF

Students explore Kirchoffs Laws by creating circuits of increasing difficulty using wires and resistors.

Equipment

Name Location Quantity
Multimeter, Digital, Extech EX420 - Battery JE-105A-D103 1 per table
Power Supply, Extech (Model #382213) JE-105A-X12/13 1 per table
Wire, Banana Patch Cords, Hookup Leads JE-Lab Rooms-ByChalkboard 7 per table
Clips, Fahnestock JE-109-D59 6 per table
Multimeter, Digital, Sperry DM5300 - Battery JE-105A- D101 1 per table

Resistor, 330 ohm JE105- X40 2 per table
Resistor, 100 ohm JE-105A-X40 3 per table

Notes

Not typical, don't set up this one unless directed specifically.

100 ohm or 110 ohm resistors can be found in room JE 113A in the drawers on shelves DS3 and DS4
100ohm - R43 (5 count per table)
500ohm - R68 (2 count per table) 510ohm - R59 (if there arent enough 500ohm)
