Photoelectric effect

PHY370

In the Photo-Electric effect, a metal is illuminated with light. Under certain circumstances, electrons are emitted from the illuminated surface. We can vary the intensity of the light and its frequency (its color). The purpose of this experiment is to use Einsteins theory of the photoelectric effect to determine Plancks constant, h.
